Sending payment links

Payment links are a secure way to request payments via text or email. When receiving a payment link, clients will be required to verify their date of birth. Once confirmed, they can pay by card or by connecting their bank account. 

Note: You’ll need an online payments account to send payment links.

To send a payment link:

  1.  Add a client payment
  2.  Under Choose payment method, select Send payment link
  3.  If the client has a third party or contact responsible for their billing, use the dropdown to send the link to them instead

  1. Choose to send the payment link via text or email

Note: Sending payment links via text is only available on the Plus plan. 

  1.  Click Send payment link

The contact will receive an email or text asking them to click Make payment. They’ll be asked to verify their date of birth and can then view the invoice and enter their payment information.
