Managing your account information and security settings

From the Account page, you can update your personal and contact information and manage security settings, including your password and 2-step verification.

Note: Enabling 2-step verification adds an extra layer of protection to your account and client data. For more information, see Protecting your account with 2-step verification.

Editing your personal and contact information

You can update your name, date of birth, contact information, or password from the Account page.

Updating your profile information

  1. Navigate to Settings > Profile > Profile and security
  2. Next to SimplePractice profile, click Edit

  1. Update your First name, Middle name, Last name, Suffix, or Date of birth
  2. If prompted, re-enter your login credentials
  3. Click Save

Updating your security settings

  1. Navigate to Settings > Profile > Profile and security
  2. Next to SimplePractice security, click Manage

  1. Update your Contact information (account email and mobile phone), Password, or set up 2-step verification 

Returning to SimplePractice

After updating your information on the Account page, you can return to SimplePractice by clicking Return to current session in the top left corner.

You can also navigate to the Home tab and select Go to calendar.
