You can use the mobile app to contact clients directly from their Overview page, and exchange Secure Messages. Below, we'll cover:

Getting in touch with clients and contacts from the Overview page on iPhone/iPad
When you navigate to the client's Overview page, you can select one of the icons at the top to contact the client directly.
Below is a description of each icon.

If a client has a contact, you can view their contact from the client's Overview page and tap their email address or phone number, then make your choice to call, text, or email them. You can also copy their email address or phone number as well.
Sending Secure Messages on iPhone/iPad
You can send Secure Messages to clients, contacts, and team members through the SimplePractice for Clinicians app.
Note: Team members and clients will first need to have Secure Messaging enabled from the web app. To do this, see Enabling Secure Messaging.
To start a new conversation:
- Select the Messages tab at the bottom of the screen
- Tap the pencil icon
- Tap Search
- Enter the name of the client, contact, or team member
- Tap their name
- Type your message
- Tap the arrow to send
To continue a conversation:
- Select the Messages tab
- Tap the name of the individual you’d like to message
Note: You can only adjust your away message settings for Secure Messaging on the browser version of SimplePractice.
