You can add and keep track of appointment notes and client files in the SimplePractice for Clinicians mobile app. Below, we'll cover:

Viewing, uploading, and deleting a client's files on Android
To view a client's files, navigate to the client's Overview page and scroll down. Under Documents, you'll see Shared and Stored.
Shared documents
When tapping Shared, you'll view which files have been shared with the client according to their document type.
Depending on your team member role and the status of the document, you can also remove a file by swiping left on the file and selecting Delete.

Stored documents
After tapping Stored, you'll be able to view files that have been uploaded to the client's profile.
You can tap + to upload a document to the client's profile.
Choose Take photo or Pick a file to upload the appropriate type of file.

Adding files to an appointment on Android
To upload files to an appointment in the app:
- Tap the appointment in the calendar
- Under Attachments, tap Files
- Tap + and choose from the following options: Take photo or Pick a file
Any uploaded appointment files will be found in the client’s Files tab.
Sending a reminder for clients to complete pending documents on Android
To send a reminder for clients to complete all of their pending documents:
- View a client's Shared documents from their Overview page
- Tap + > Send Reminder
- Review all the client's pending documents, then tap Send
Note: This screen also indicates whether a client has automated reminders for incomplete documents. This can be enabled or disabled on the web app. For more information, see Tracking the status of shared intakes.
Sharing files on Android
You can also share files with the client or their contact(s). To share files:
- View a client's Shared documents from their Overview page
- Tap + > Share New Document(s)
- Toggle on the client
- You can also only toggle on a contact if you'd like to send them items
- Tap Select documents to send
- Toggle on the documents you'd like to share
- Tap Next
- Edit the email if needed, then tap Done
