You can customize your experience on the SimplePractice for Clinicians mobile app by adjusting settings in the app, including push notifications for new messages and appointment activity. Below, we'll cover:

Managing push notifications on Android
Push notifications from your mobile device can notify you of important details about your practice, such as upcoming appointments, new appointment requests, and Secure Messages.
To enable or disable push notifications within the SimplePractice for Clinicians app:
- Tap the profile icon in the top left corner
- Select Settings
- Toggle on Push notifications
- Tap Notification preferences
- Select the boxes next to Upcoming appointments, New secure messages, and/or New appointment requests
- You can also toggle All if you want all of these enabled
You can also choose when a reminder for an appointment will be sent before the appointment. To do this:
- From Settings, tap Appointment notification delivery to choose how long before an appointment a reminder will be sent
- Choose At the start, 5 minutes before, 15 minutes before, 30 minutes before, 1 hour before, or 2 hours before
Managing other settings on Android
There are other settings available in the mobile app. After tapping your profile in the upper left corner and selecting Settings in the app, you can toggle on the following features.
