Refunding Client Credit
I'm having trouble accounting for a client's refund. The refund is currently listed as "failed." However, the funds are not allocated. I need help resolving this matter so that we can refund our client ASAP.

Just did the refund and it was super easy.
Billing -> Card Transactions -> Enter Client Name -> Chose Transaction -> I did partial refund and you fill that in at the bottom of the invoice. Says it was refunded although the credit still shows. Hopeful it will balance out shortly as it says it can take serval days. Who knows?

We've had similar issues when trying to issue refunds. The system will say we can't because the payment has already been allocated. Are others getting this error message? To get around this error message, we have to delete the original invoice and then issue the refund. It works, but also messes up the income allocation reports (although the report(s) have the correct totals, they don't accurately capture the original payment and refund).
