Camera shutting off during Video sessions

    I'm having this issue, as well! And I've changed nothing with my browser, nor added any new software to my laptop. And this is happening with multiple clients. It just happens randomly, too. There is no predictability with it. I agree...please help!

    Something similar happens for me as well. In the middle of some sessions, my video switches to my laptop's camera instead of the external one I selected before the session. That started several weeks ago but then seemed to improve. More recently, for a couple weeks now, my video either goes black or switches to the other camera. This does not happen for me with Zoom which I also use fairly often.

    I learned that I had to go into settings and make sure I'm allowing camera and microphone when I open Simple Practice.  That solved the issue for me.

    I'm still dealing with this issue. Ruth you mentioned going into settings and that resolving the issue for you -- was this the settings in Simple Practice, or your browser or your computer? Would you be able to share your process? Thanks so much!

    Ersin, I'm so terribly sorry for the delay.  My inbox is out of control :(  I've totally forgotten how I did it.  I've tried to recreate what I did and re-googled the info, but can't find if it was within Simple Practice or if it was within Google Chrome. My aplogies.
