About this class
We have several resources to help group practices get started with SimplePractice. First, Account Owners and practice managers can review the Account setup class and sign up for an Onboarding consultation call with our group practice specialists.
3 important tips for group practice Account Owners
- The individual who started the account will be the Account Owner by default, and they'll have the ability to customize any of the settings.
- If you're planning to bill insurance, we recommend you add your NPI number and insurance payer enrollments as soon as possible.
- You can customize your practice's intake forms and consent forms before adding clinician team members.
Role-specific on-demand classes
To help team members learn SimplePractice, you can share the classes below for role-based training:
- Account setup for Account Owners and practice managers in a group practice
- Using SimplePractice as a clinician in a group practice
- Using SimplePractice as a scheduler in a group practice
- Using SimplePractice as a biller in a group practice
Important: Each person logging into a SimplePractice account is required to use their own email and password, even within a group practice. Sharing account login credentials violates Section 6 of our Terms of Service, results in an inaccurate HIPAA Audit Log for compliance, and puts the security of client data at risk.
If you have questions along the way, or want a more structured onboarding experience, join our live 2-part onboarding series. You'll get a guided walkthrough of the core setup and essential workflows you’ll use to run your practice. Each session includes a Q&A portion, where a SimplePractice specialist can answer your questions in real-time. To register, see:
